What I find revealing and interesting in God’s word is that when He directs our path in life it is usually not what we think should happen. He clearly states in scripture that His ways are not our ways nor His thoughts our thoughts, yet as humans, we continually believe He thinks as we do. He knows all things and what is best for us, so trusting Him is for our benefit. The challenging part is trusting Him. We always want to do things our way.

Lots of new insights reading these verses. One is that when we realize God owns everything and we are only stewards, that knowledge should be liberating.

It’s revealing that faithfulness with small things is key to receiving greater responsibilities from God. I found it interesting that how we handle money reflects our true character and values. The idea that wasting resources could lead to losing stewardship responsibilities is challenging, as it reminds me to be diligent and careful in managing what I’ve been given.

- Revealing: God
always provides, but His ways can surprise us. He is faithful, but we
don’t always know how He’ll meet our needs. - Interesting: The
story of the orphans holding bread shows how trusting God’s promises gives
us peace. - Challenging:
Accepting that everything belongs to God, not us, can be hard when the
world tells us we own what we have.
- Revealing: God

The notes opened my eyes to how closely money and our spiritual life are connected. I didn’t realize that Jesus talked so much about money—15% of His teachings! It’s challenging to think of every financial decision as a spiritual one. Luke 14:33, which says we need to give up all we have to follow Jesus, is especially hard because it asks us to trust God completely with everything we own.

It’s everything…how I respond in frustrating situations, how I keep the house clean and meals ready for my family, how I care for my friends, how I spend money, the “relationship” I have with screens..:all things need to be handled with faithfulness in a way that brings God glory.

Taking good care of my cell group – caring for and giving them the spiritual foundations they need – making disciples of them.

Raising my family to have relationships with Christ. And also putting time and money into my house I rent to renovate it
-
Little things for me are what married homeowners call “the Honey do list.” Being a better steward over maintaining the blessing we called home.
-
Being faithful with the little things in my life, at this stage of my life looks like : After I lost everything after becoming homeless and living on the streets, and now have a place to call home again, I have began to have more appreciation of my possessions. Although I have am continued to live recklessly here and there, I am working to be a better steward with what God has given me control of as He continues to bring me closer to Him.

I learn to count my blessings – to savour what I already have from the Lord.

I thought about the things I wrote, I truly asked myself if I loved any of these things more than God. Releasing things to Him allows me to focus more on Him

God deserves the rights to everything I have and will ever possess, even myself. It all belongs to Him anyways and I am just a temporary steward. He can steward far better than me. So why not just go ahead and give everything to him now? BTW I have more than I realize.
