1. Knowing and Loving God.
2. Growing up in God
3. Serving God.
I think #1 gets us started in abiding and experiencing God. All 3 are part of experiencing God. So many people fall away after a short time because they have not truly experienced God to the fullest. The other reason is that it is very important to learn to recognize God at work and then learn to respond (part of growing up and serving).

My priorities are as follows: 1. “It is essential to knowing and Loving God” 2. “It is essential to serving God.”
3. “It is essential for growing up in God. “
First, I think we need to get to know GOD and Love him as he first Loved us. Understanding who he is and our responsibility to serve him. As we become for knowledgeable of the Word and Grow is a natural progression. Finally, I believe all three are equally important.

Personally, having a Roman Catholic background, I read the Bible to know who God really was because the picture that was given to me was a God far away, ready to punish me at the slightest mistake. What I discovered was totally different! Then I understood that He loved me and it stimulated me to serve Him, to love Him and that is an ever growing process. Being a Christian is never a state we accomplish but a goal we are striving for . Do we ever love God with all our heart and strength, have Christ humility, love all our enemies, and have pure motives? No. It is a journey. They are all important and we need to balance those areas in our lives.

Knowing and loving, growing up, serving. In order to serve Him well, you need to grow up. In order to grow up, you need to know and love Him. Knowing and loving Him are the most important. We were saved so that we could have relationship with Him, not so that we could do works for Him. Yes, we will do works once we know and love Him, but works are not what saves us, faith (relationship) is.
