  Do you read the Bible as one book or as a collection of separate books?

  I read the Bible as a collection of separate books telling the same story from different perspectives.

  I have read the Bible as a whole book, but normally, I read the Bible in specific chapters and verses to the lessons I’m studying or devotions to bring me closer to what God is saying in that text for my understanding.

  I read the Bible as a single book with two distinct halves with chapters/verses. Each half also contains many stories, characters, and themes that fit perfectly into the grand overarching theme of the entire Bible which is God’s great redemptive love for his creation mankind. Many things are shared in common, overlap, and/or cross-reference between the two halves as well. This can assure the reader that the Bible is in fact one single book made up of a collection of smaller and separate yet intricately interwoven books.

  I read the Bible as a collection of separate books. Although each book tends to reference another, I can learn something different in each one.
