I feel daunted that I’m going to be doing conversations differently.
I feel excited that we can be a blessing to the world in which we’re each placed. -
I definitely need this for myself to go deeper and understand what is happening beneath the surface of my own life. My theme this year in my quiet time is “Going Deeper with God” and this definitely goes along with it. I need SoulCare for myself so I can be authentic with others and go deeper with them. I truly want to help other people grow in Christ and live for Him and this course is going to help me do the same. The 6th concept really hit home for me “self-need versus soul-thirst”. I desperately need “soul-thirst”. “The hunger to know God, a hunger to become like the Lord, a hunger to relate intimately and deeply with people for the glory and the pleasure of God, and for the blessing in the growth of others.” This is my prayer and what is in my heart.

I still feel very inadequate, I think I need to deal with some spiritual and mental issues on my own part before I engage in the battle for another’s soul.

It is was a reality check in how self centered I really am when I am speaking to others about deeper things. I pray that i can be mindful of my intentions and deeper passions for helping others.

I find myself wanting to engage in some more conversations to be curious. I find hope that God is really up to something in their lives and in mine. I still feel inadequate (that’s good right?), but more hopeful.
