I am excited as I reflect on what is possible – to be an agent of change by allowing the Holy Spirit to work in and through me. I am excited about the transformation that is possible, as people are made aware of where they are and where they could be as they discover the reality and potential of the gospel in their lives.
At the same time, I am painfully aware that the main obstacles in this exciting venture is ME, and the need to be truly broken before the treasure that is in this earthen vessel can be release in all its glory and power. However it is a process that I am willing to go through, even expected to go through as believers of Christ, so that I can become a vessel used for the Lord’s purpose. I am feeling cautiously excited! -
There’s a lot of spiritual growth I see I need in order to provide SoulCare. I’ve realized just recently just how selfish I really am, and this series has given me the strength and humility to admit it. Thank you.

It is sobering and even frightening to realize how desperate I am for God to work in my heart and make me alive to His desires, rather than being motivated by self-centeredness even if my actions “look good” on the surface. It is a reminder to approach every conversation prayerfully and worshipfully toward Christ.

I am excited to see how the Spirit will move through these sessions and the healing that God will do.

I don’t really know the fruit of what the steps will look like in a counseling setting. It seems like it would be Super beneficial in terms of relation building and family etc.; but an occasional (weekly? monthly?) meeting doesn’t seem adequate.
