All of our lessons should be placed between the Bible. The Bible should be on both sides of our lessons.

God’s word becomes the glue that holds everything else together. Everything else is based on the foundation of the truth from the word of God.

Our lessons that we teach in the classroom must be surrounded by His truth.

She is illustrating that the Word of God is the most important because all the subjects are surrounded by the Bible. Every lesson plan must have God’s Word attached to it, from the beginning and the end. Course must start with God and then end with God.

Whenever I think of the bible passage that says, ”Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:26-27. That makes me to want to study more about what I am learning, for if day by day there are new inventions, and yet man have not yet scratch what God has in store for him. That makes want to learn every day.

I love to learn, even if I don’t agree with or enjoy the topic, I believe we can still learn and grow from it. Topics that challenge us help us to grow and to see where others are coming from. I try to always be learning and I try to pass that onto my students.

I have several colleagues that are also working on their master’s degree. We encourage each other by meeting up to discuss what we have found interesting in what we are learning. This causes us to look forward to what we are studying and seek out more knowledge instead of just pushing through to get the grade.

I view myself as a lifelong learner. I think the joy of loving to learn and viewing challenges as an opportunity for growth is important for maintaining a growth mindset and also for modeling one.
