The book(s) can represent our school curriculum and the standards we teach in school. Therefore, the visual shows that the Word of God, which is the Bible, should be integrated with other subjects in the curriculum to convey its message effectively. As Christian educators, it should be considered the foundation—the first and last element—of every educational process.

The Bible is the most important among the other books. It reveals the truth and is important to achieve and attain a growing mindset.

She is saying that you and your teachings need to be surrounded by scripture. God’s word should be present in all of your materials you are teaching.

That the Bible is the ultimate for Christian educators come what may. For the other materials are swallowed by the Bible in other to produce intended result as it was the plan from the beginning.

She is illustrating the importance of keeping the Bible as a key part of the lessons we teach and classes we prepare for our students. It should be where we start and were we end.

I am trying to learn from other colleagues and learn from my students as well. I am continually looking for ways to help students understand the material. I have read books and kept up with relevant content in the field. I try to encourage it with my students as well as myself.

To encourage a growth mindset, I set incremental goals and actively seek challenges, viewing them as opportunities for learning. I also practice reflective journaling and positive self-talk to reinforce the belief that effort leads to improvement and that mistakes are valuable learning experiences.

I like to take time to go and observe other Band Directors that are role models for myself. When I observe, I tend to increase in understanding on how I can be more effective and godly as a educator.

I try new things (like becoming a teacher!), and look back at the things I have accomplished, that I was not sure I would be able to at the time. I also pray for God’s help in the hard things (hello middle schoolers!).

To encourage a growth mindset in myself, I draw out ideas and inspiration from my boss and colleagues. I find as aspect of teaching that I have not explored in the past and ask questions so I can understand how to incorporate that new aspect into my classroom practice. I follow the path of my own curiosity.

I hope to understand how I can integrate Scripture into daily lessons and draw out my students to interact with God’s word. I want to do a new thing, something more than just opening prayer or an occasional Bible verse.
