Good leader know where they are going, who they are taking, how they are getting?
Good leader lead, lead is an action that need more than thinking sitting around but do something too. -
Before this lesson I would have thought a leader was the one making sure I was doing what I was supposed to be doing where I am. Now I know this management not leadership. A good leader would be someone taking me to a new and better place.

Before this lesson, I would describe a good leader as someone who motivates /teaches people how to do and be better than they once did.
A good leader takes people where they haven’t been, and wouldn’t know how to get there without the guidance of said leader.

Leadership sometimes doesn’t include taking over a situation or circumstance, management a lot of times is controlling a situation and micro-managing
-
Leadership requires more vision and care. Management feels more day to day.
-
Management is oversight, leadership is taking people somewhere.
-
Leadership is actively moving towards a goal or destination that one must be able to adapt as variables change to keep moving forward. Leadership directs management in being able to oversee the work to be done to reach the goals set in place. In order to do both effectively there must be open communication between the two channels. Management follows leadership’s directives and oversees the community of people to guide them in the tasks needed to get the work done.
-
Management helps people to do what they are supposed to do where they’re at. Leadership brings people some place else.
