The One GOD wants a loving relationship with humanity. Unfortunately, we are sinful by nature and fall short in our relationship with him.

This is the story of then and us now and it shows us why we are in need of a savior.

The Old Testament is a book filled with a description of the God that created us, love us, and desires to spend eternity with us. if we are to spend our lives without getting to know God (Mat 7:23), we are in danger of spending eternity separated from him.

Because we are all still rebelling and DEAD in our sins. He must create in us new life if we are to live wholy holy for Him!

This is significant because this shows us how God is. It shows us his character and also reveals our character too.
