  What new insights about the importance of prayer did you gather from this lesson?

  I was impressed with the paraphrases of God turning His ear as God bending down to hear us. It is a comforting, graphic picture of Big Daddy bending down to listen to a little child.
  I was also struck by the fact that God saved Judah because Hezekiah prayed. “Because you prayed,” the speaker emphasized. This is a reminder to be constant in prayer.

  The new insights from today’s lesson is the image of God bending down to hear my prayer. God wants me to prayer, desires to hear my requests and to communicate with me and most of all to pour out his blessings on me through this connection with him. I can change the way things are through prayer, praying for God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

  To be humble, willing to talk with God and give him the opportunity to hear your prayer and answer, whether now or later. To gain strength through prayer and to count on the Lord to fulfill your requests because of your belief in him.

  That God not only hears and answers our prayers, but that He also reveals great and unsearchable things that we would not have known, had we not stayed in His presence through prayer
